By clicking on the “I Agree” button below, you signify your agreement to these terms of use, which makes it a binding legal agreement. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please click on “Cancel,” discontinue setting up a membership account and exit the website. We reserve the right to change, add, remove or modify portions of these terms at any time.

PROPERTY OWNERSHIP
All the content found on the Relationship Builders web site, including, but not limited to designs, software, texts, images, photographs, illustrations, audio clips, video clips, artwork, animation, trademarks, trade names and other copyrightable elements (collectively “the Property”) are protected by international and United States copyright and trademark laws and treaties. Smart Kids Publishing, Inc., its affiliates (including Relationship Builders) and licensors, own all rights, title and interest in and to the Property found on this web site. For purposes of this Agreement, the use of the Property on any other web site is prohibited.
The terms of this Agreement do not transfer title of the Property to you or any user of the web site. Smart Kids Publishing, Inc., its affiliates and licensors retain full and complete title to the Property and all intellectual property rights attached thereto.
By downloading software from this web site (including any files, codes, images, and audio clips incorporated in or generated by the software), and data accompanying the software, gives you a non-exclusive, non-assignable, and non-transferable license to use the software and data for your personal, non-commercial home use. You may not redistribute, sell, lend, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise render the software and data in a human-readable form. Any unauthorized or prohibited use may subject you to civil liability and criminal prosecution under applicable laws. Smart Kids Publishing, Inc., its affiliates and licensors retain full and complete title to the software, data and all intellectual property rights found on this web site.

REGISTRATION AND YOUR ACCOUNT

When you first visit the Relationship Builders website, you will be asked to register your child by making up a user name and password. You should not use personal information that can identify your child when selecting a user name. As part of the registration process, you will be asked certain questions about you or your child that will help us to identify your account in case you forget your password or secret identification number. The only personal information we collect is your child’s first name, your state of residence and your child’s birthday.

You will also be asked to enter the secret code card number found in the Relationship Builders book to activate the featured Keepsake Journal “art studio” and game website.

It is important that you keep your user name, password and secret code in a safe place offline. Each time your child visits the Relationship Builders website, he or she will be required to enter this information to access the art studio. If this information is forgotten or misplaced, your secret code card number will get you on the web site. If you forget your password and lose the secret code card, you may still get on the website by answering the questions you were asked upon registration. If you answer those questions correctly, you will be permitted access to the website.

 

REGISTRATION PERIOD & RENEWALS

Once you register your child and you activate an art studio (by entering in the secret code card number) as outlined above, access to the art studio will be valid for twelve (12) months following the date that the stuido is activated (“Registration Period”). You may extend or renew this Registration Period and continue to keep the studio activated for another year by paying an annual “Renewal Fee.” Your new Registration Period will commence and continue for another year once the Renewal Fee is paid, and when the previous Registration Period expires. Registration Periods and Renewal Fees are set by Relationship Builders in its sole discretion and are subject to change.

ADDITIONAL PURCHASES OF BOOKS

The Relationship Builders web site is designed so a child can select from several different “art studios” or game sites to play on. Each studio is unique and features different artwork, games and activities. You may purchase one or all the titles in the series and activate each studio by entering the secret code that comes with the scrapbook.

Each time you purchase a different scrapbook in the Relationship Builders series, you may activate the art studio for that scrapbook by entering in the secret code card number as outlined above. As with all scrapbooks, the Registration Period and access to the art studio will be valid for twelve (12) months following the date that the art studio is activated. Registration Periods are one year for each volume only and not cumulative. For example, if you purchase 2 volumes and register them at the same time, the Registration Period would be twelve months for each studio, not a cumulative twenty-four months for each studio.

Each art studio should be registered under your child’s original user name and password.
If you register a scrapbook with a different user name and password, a new account is established and will not be connected with your previous account. This means that you can only access one art studio at a time and earn points and spend the points on an account-by-account basis. Renewing or extending the term of one account does not renew or extend any other account you have on the website.

EXPIRATION OF REGISTRATION PERIOD
When your Registration Period expires for a particular art studio, you may reactivate the studio by paying a renewal fee. Further details regarding renewal fees, renewal periods and method of payment, are provided on the website.
Relationship Builders reserves the right to suspend any account that has been inactive for a six month period or more. You may reactivate the suspended account by following the simple directions found on this website and as long as the Registration Period has not expired.

NON TRANSFERABLE OF ACCOUNTS & POINTS
All accounts, user names, passwords, points (earned when child plays games) and virtual items that the child purchases on the web site are not transferable between accounts. The points the child earns playing the games in the various art studios, have no retail or cash value.

PERSONAL, NON-COMMERCIAL USE LICENSE & RESTRICTIONS

            We maintain this website for you and your child’s personal enjoyment, benefit, information, education and communication. You may download material displayed on our site for non-commercial, personal use, provided you also retain all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices contained in the material. It is strictly prohibited to modify, transmit, distribute, reuse, re-post, “frame” or use the content of this site for any public or commercial purposes including text, images, audio and/or video without our written permission.
More specifically, you may not:  a) redistribute, sell or otherwise copy the Property; b) modify, translate or create derivative works based on the Property; c) attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise reduce the Property to a human-readable form, except to the extent applicable laws specifically prohibit such restriction; d) remove any identification, copyright or other proprietary notices; or e) create other software that incorporates the Property.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Relationship Builders does offer products for children, but it provides them to adults, who can fill out the order form and who can pay for the shipping and order processing charge with a credit card. Children under 18, may use our website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Relationship Builders reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit contents, or cancel orders in its sole discretion.

YOUR ACCOUNT & SECURITY

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, user name, password, secret code and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, secret code or password. If you forget or lose your secret code or password, please refer to the REGISTRATION & YOUR ACCOUNT section above.
You or your child should never disclose your secret code or password for any reason—no one at Relationship Builders will ever ask you to disclose this information for any reason. To insure security of your account, you should always (1) make your password hard to guess by using both letters and numbers in your pass code, (2) never give out your secret pass code, (3) exit from your account at the end of each session and (4) notify Relationship Builders of any unauthorized use of your account or any other suspected breach of security. We are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

PROPER USE OF THIS WEBSITE
We maintain this website for you and your child’s personal enjoyment and benefit and it is intended to be used in a safe and enjoyable fashion. The following rules and guidelines will help you and your child have an enjoyable online experience using this website:

             Relationship Builders assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any damages cause from viruses that may infect your computer equipment or other property as a result of accessing, browsing, downloading or by any other use of our website.

             Relationship Builders has not reviewed nor given permission to all the sites linked to our website. Therefore, we are not responsible for the content of any off-site pages or any other sites linked to our site. None of the Information you submit to Relationship Builders shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of Relationship Builders, and we shall not be liable for any use or disclosure of all or part of the Information. Without limiting the foregoing, Relationship Builders shall exclusively own all now known or hereafter existing rights to the Information of every kind and nature throughout the world, and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Information for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to the provider of the Information.
